2024 Convening
Convening Focus
The 2024 Nebraska Mental Health Policy Convening brought together cross-sector stakeholders from across the state to collaboratively identify and prioritize policy solutions to improve mental health and substance use systems. The convening combined expert perspectives, including a keynote on rural mental health policy, with interactive activities such as policy roundtables, idea generation, and real-time prioritization. Participants explored key topic areas—ranging from access to care and workforce development to youth mental health and crisis response—while centering equity, lived experience, and collaboration.
