2025 Convening
Convening Focus
The 2025 Nebraska Mental Health & Substance Use Statewide Convening brought together cross-sector leaders from across the state to translate findings from a statewide research study into shared priorities and coordinated action. Building on momentum from the previous year, the convening focused on moving from insight to implementation through interactive activities including a gallery walk of research findings, facilitated discussions, and collaborative strategy sessions. Participants explored persistent system challenges—such as access, workforce capacity, equity, prevention, and data coordination—while grounding conversations in lived experience and statewide data. The convening concluded with participants identifying key areas for collective action and outlining next steps to advance a more connected, responsive behavioral health system across Nebraska.
